FUTURE DEVELOPMENTS AND POTENTIAL RISKS

In the future, there is a growing need for mindfulness to be recognized as an essential component of education, supported by clear guidelines and policies from governments and educational institutions. Failure to address this need may result in missed opportunities to enhance students’ well-being, resilience, and academic success. It is crucial for governments to invest in teacher training programs that incorporate mindfulness and to develop comprehensive frameworks for its integration into educational systems. Without such support, the potential risks include increased student stress, reduced focus and attention, and limited emotional regulation skills, which can negatively impact students’ overall learning experience and mental health.
