Erasmus plus – Organisation job shadowing for teachers and staff
Europe for all in the Erasmus plus projects( key action 1 learning mobility of individuals for school education staff (KA121-SCH and KA122-SCH), adult education staff (KA121-ADU and KA122-ADU), Vet staff (KA121-VET and KA122-VET) and higher education staff (KA131-HED) or others mobility transnational programs) organizes a period of job shadowing; an opportunity for teachers, school managers or other school staff to spend timw in Italy in a school (elementary or high school / academic / technical ) or in another relevant organization (VET) active in the field of school education ..
The job shadowing period which can last one or more weeks; it is an opportunity for teachers to acquire skills in addressing the needs of pupils with disadvantaged or different backgrounds, also given the current context relating to young migrants, refugees and asylum seekers, who are in schools in Italy.
Europe for All through its mobility department project arranges the job shadowing period at public or private schools previously chosen. In fact, the Europe for All in the drafting phase supports the sending institution and indicates the name of the host institution school where the participants, (staff or teachers erasmus ) will carry out the training period of job shadowing and the program connected to it.
The companies/schools that are selected to be host partners will have the following criteria:
- The institution’s profile must conform to the project topic, so that participants can be adequately trained;
- The quality of the educational offer the teaching programs and methods must be innovative for any subject.
- The school willingness to welcome the group for the job shadowing period, acceptance of the program
In some cases, support will also be given to projects that train teachers in areas such as the training of refugee children, intercultural classes, the teaching of pupils in their second language, tolerance and diversity of classes.
